This is a rude awakening of South Africans, the curfew and travel restrictions and the concept which is a constant reminder of the dangerous situations we are faces with, based on the enigma of covid- 19 which is rapidly gaining momentum and vast expression. We all have to abide by the complaint regulation programs issued by various inter-ministerial task team in their respective portfolios at the government level. We all have an obligation to make an initiative to rally around to assist to curb this pandemic.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.
It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.
People who considers themselves victims of their circumstances will always remain victims unless they develop a greater vision for their lives.
When dealing with people, always remember you are not dealing with creatures of logic, but creatures of emotions so be always careful before making sensitive, provocative statements on the public platforms.
I would personally like to extent my appreciation of all our medical fraternity and all those who provide the essential services, which includes the scientist, doctors, nurses, police, soldiers, post office and retailers that provide essential services, who put unwavering selfless contribution and put the interests of the country first, in order to provide essential services. They provide sterling work under difficult circumstances. They indeed our heroes, and your efforts and tireless dedication is of paramount importance. Thank you, we salute you.
Our country is in dire state of national disaster, and our economy is on its knees, while our community continue to live in squalor and we see huge marshalling of funds and mobilization of resources, although it is for a good course, but we cannot be deafened by the conditions prevailing in our country. My question is where was this money when our people continue to live in poverty and subhuman conditions, and the question is where the consciousness from our political leaders.
We are facing invincible enemy of epic proportions, and efforts must be made to deal with the aftermath of covid 19 and its ripple effects. 25 years in our democracy, it took a virus to unite the Country. The ripple effects caused by cronyism and corruption continue to resurface in subjective state of our financial distress. The conduct of bureaucracy is caring out daily functions of the state. To circumspect the huge billion donations from the elite, the Rupert’s, Oppenheimers and Naspers under the auspices of covid 19, seem to deflect from the sole purpose of the heightened political will which is enforced by global pandemic of the virus, which continue to unite and compact our divided country.
We are in state of paralysis, our integrity is been sabotaged by parallel processes imposed by the interminiterial task team through every press meetings. This binary narrative of our Ministers to make abrupt destructive concessions leaves the country in disaster. The country is still reeling from the quack mire of dire disease but our government is stalling to bring effective regulations without chopping and changing the rules. The prevailing parallel process of double standards takes us nowhere. The informal traders and spaza shops are only now being considered. If be government is relaxing the regulations, national press meeting must be held to address all the shortfalls of their latter decisions.sam_makalela73
